Objective:

Organize neurological diseases, symptoms, and localizations through deductive reasoning, teamwork, and concise medical communication in a cooperative game.

Materials needed:

Stereotactic Cards

Setup:

Print and cut out Stereotactic Cards.
Place the Blue Number Cards (1-5) in a horizontal row to form the top row.
Place the Green Letter Cards (A-E) in a vertical row to form the left-most column.
Shuffle the deck of Orange Code Word Cards and place one beneath each Number Card and one to the right of each Letter Card. (If this your first game, try putting Muscle, Nerve, Spinal Cord, and Brainstem on one axis and Degenerative, Structural, Neoplastic, Acute, and Chronic on the other.)
Shuffle the Clue Coordinate Cards (with the brain image) and place them face down to form a Draw Pile off to the side of the grid.

Gameplay:

Draw Clue Coordinates:
- At the start of the game, each player draws one Clue Coordinate Card (e.g., A1, B4, C2).
- Players keep their card secret and can give their clue whenever they choose—there are no turns.
Give Clues & Guess:
- When ready, a player gives a one-word (or one-concept) clue related to the two Code Word Cards associated with their Clue Coordinate Card.
- The team collaborates to guess the correct grid location.
- If correct, the Clue Coordinate Card is placed in the grid.
- If incorrect, the card is placed in the Fail Pile off to the side.
Draw New Cards:
- After giving a clue and resolving it, the player immediately draws a new Clue Coordinate Card.
- Players continue giving clues and drawing new cards until all have been placed or discarded.
Game End & Scoring:
- The game ends when all Clue Coordinate Cards have been used.
- Count the correctly placed cards—the higher the score, the better the team’s neurological deduction skills.
