Complete
Bluff Count

Number of players:
3-5 (Or more, if you do team play)
Objective:
Rapidly recall and categorize essential concepts in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and clinical neurology through competitive recall and strategic estimation.
Materials needed:
Game idea - Zach Dimovski
Setup:
-
Print and cut out category cards.
-
Shuffle the deck and place it face down in the center.
-
Choose the person who told a lie most recently as the starting bidder.
Gameplay:
-
Each player draws one secret category card. Players may look at their own card but must not reveal it to others.
-
The starting bidder must state how many total answers they can name, split between:
-
Their own category (which they see).
-
The category of the player to their left (which they do not see).
-
-
The player to their left must then decide to:
-
Raise the bid, increasing the total count.
-
Call a challenge, forcing the bidder to prove their claim
-
-
If they raise the bid, play continues clockwise, with each player bidding on their own category + the person to their left's category until a challenge is called.
-
When a challenge is called, both the last bidder (who made the final bid) and the challenger reveal their category cards.
-
Set a timer for one minute.
-
Before time runs out, the last bidder must attempt to name the total number of correct answers they bid, split between their own category and the challenger's category.
-
If they succeed: ✅ They win the challenger’s category card and keep it for scoring.
-
If they fail: ❌ The challenger wins their category card instead.
-
-
All players who had an opportunity to bid this round draw new category cards, and the challenger from the previous round becomes the new starting bidder in the next round.
-
The game continues until the category draw pile is empty or all players agree to stop.
-
The player with the most category cards wins.
